Oloid Labs is an independent AI studio. We collect very little personal information, and we don't run advertising trackers or sell your data. This page explains what we collect when you visit oloidlabs.com or get in touch, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
01 Who we are
This site is operated by Oloid Labs ("we", "us", "our"). If you have any question about this policy or about the information we hold, email us at info@oloidlabs.com and we'll respond.
02 Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, you send us your name, email address, and the message you write. That's the only information the form asks for — anything else we know about your enquiry is just what you choose to include in the message.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. These may include your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time of the request. They're used to operate and secure the site, not to build a profile of you.
Cookies and analytics
We don't set advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't use third-party tracking or profiling tools on this site. The page needs no cookies to function.
03 Third-party services
A few external services are involved in running the site. Each receives only what it needs:
- Web3Forms handles delivery of the contact form. When you submit the form, your name, email, and message pass through Web3Forms' systems so the enquiry can be emailed to us. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on the page. Your browser requests these font files from Google's servers, which means Google may receive your IP address as part of serving them. See Google's privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider stores the site files and the server logs described above.
04 How we use your information
We use the information you send us only to:
- reply to your enquiry and discuss whether we can help;
- follow up on that specific conversation; and
- operate, maintain, and secure the website.
We do not add you to a mailing list, run marketing sequences, or sell or rent your information to anyone. We only reply to what you asked about.
05 Legal basis
Where data-protection law such as the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to and managing enquiries about our services, and on your consent where you have voluntarily contacted us. You can withdraw that consent at any time by asking us to delete your enquiry.
06 How long we keep it
We keep contact-form enquiries for as long as needed to handle your request and any reasonable follow-up, and then delete them. Server logs are retained on a short, rolling basis by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes.
07 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. To exercise any of these, email info@oloidlabs.com and we'll action it promptly. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
08 Data security & international transfers
We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we hold, and the site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we can't guarantee absolute security. Some of the providers above (for example Web3Forms and Google) may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States.
09 Children
This site is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here.
